How to Use the Stargazing Guide

To get the most accurate information, either allow the tool to use your current location or manually enter the latitude and longitude of your observation spot. The tool will then provide key astronomical data for the current day:

  • Sunrise & Sunset: These times mark the beginning and end of daylight, helping you know when to start looking for stars.
  • Moonrise & Moonset: Knowing when the moon is in the sky is crucial. The best stargazing happens when the moon is below the horizon.
  • Moon Phase: A full moon can be so bright that it washes out fainter stars. The best time for stargazing is during the new moon phase.
